Curacao, the final island in the well-known “ABC” group, offers a breathtaking and desirable getaway. Its location outside the hurricane zone of the Caribbean allows for year-round visits.
The combination of clear blue skies and warm weather entices visitors to head straight to the beachfront pools and turquoise seas, which are home to vibrant and diverse reefs.
The charming and picturesque city of Willemstad, the capital of Curacao, captivates tourists with its pastel-colored buildings, while the island’s white sand beaches also become a favorite.
While there are only a few all-inclusive resorts available in Curacao, each one offers luxurious accommodations and stunning views that will keep your camera busy. Moreover, compared to other Caribbean islands, a trip to Curacao won’t drain your bank account.
5. Zoetry Curacao Resort
Instead of the Floris Suite Hotel, the Zoetry Curacao Resort offers a modern and luxurious stay with new designs on the island. The resort is located in the lively Piscadera Bay and provides a high-quality experience. Despite having 135 rooms, it gives off a small, boutique hotel feel.
Guests can enjoy delicious Caribbean and international cuisine at three different restaurants that use local ingredients. In addition to great food, the resort also offers amenities such as two pools, a tennis court, spa, fitness facilities, and access to a beautiful private beach.
4. Curacao Marriott Beach Resort
The Curacao Marriott Beach Resort on the island’s southwestern coast underwent a thorough renovation in 2019. It now offers over 300 rooms, a beautiful beachfront, relaxing pools, and inviting bars, making it the top all-inclusive resort in Curacao. The resort combines luxurious Caribbean vibes with a touch of old-world charm.
The architecture is impressive, and the pools are adorned with Grecian-style tile work. At the Serenity Pool, which is exclusively for adults, you can swim up to the bar and enjoy a drink. Afterward, treat yourself to a massage at the spa house. The most memorable experiences occur just 20 feet offshore, as guests have access to a private reef.
Similar to the Renaissance, the Marriott Beach Resort also has its own casino and is conveniently located near Willemstad and the famous Queen Emma Bridge.
3. Baoase Luxury Resort
When you stay at Baoase Luxury Resort, it will feel like you’ve been transported from the Caribbean Sea to Indonesia. This boutique hotel only has a few dozen rooms, but each one is beautifully designed with careful attention to detail. Some even have their own private pool.
Located away from the busier parts of Curacao, Baoase offers a peaceful and elegant atmosphere that guests love. Unlike other resorts on the island, it doesn’t get crowded, so you can relax and enjoy the great amenities like the restaurant, pool surrounded by lush plants, and the beach.
However, it’s worth noting that the beach is man-made, which is why it didn’t make it to the top of our guide.
2. Renaissance Curacao Resort
The Renaissance Curacao Resort is conveniently located just a short walk away from Curacao’s historic district in Willemstad. Despite its affordable price, the resort offers luxurious accommodations that will surely impress the whole family.
The highlight of the resort is its infinity pool, one of which overlooks the beautiful Caribbean Sea and features saltwater and a sandy bottom. As you explore the resort, you’ll notice that it is quite large and offers a variety of amenities.
In addition to the infinity pools, there are also two restaurants, a waterfront bar that becomes popular as the sun sets, and an extravagant casino for those looking for some excitement. This extensive space adds a unique element to your island experience, providing plenty of entertainment options and an element of risk for the evening.
In the morning, you can also visit the historic Rif Fort, which has been transformed into an upscale shopping mall.
1. Sunscape Curacao Resort
Sunscape Curacao Resort is located on a wide and protected beach. The resort has a lively atmosphere and offers plenty of activities, as well as opportunities for relaxation. It is designed for families and groups, with multiple pools, five restaurants, and many things to do. Kids will enjoy the rock climbing wall, kayaks, and snorkeling.
Adults can have their own adventures and enjoy the bars, spa treatments, and fitness center. If you don’t have children, you can also explore the local nightlife. However, there are many reasons to stay at the resort as it has great amenities and beautiful views.
